When I started slowing down, it wasn’t by choice. It happened during my recovery from heart valve replacement — a season that challenged me in ways I never expected. It triggered a deep struggle with depression, shaken self-confidence, and a hard, honest reckoning with how I saw my life.
At first, slowing down felt like losing everything I had built. But slowly — so slowly — it became something else entirely. It became a way of healing. I started with the smallest things: sipping a warm cup of tea by the window, letting the morning sunlight touch my face, baking simple breads that made me feel nourished, walking a little day by day.
Those tiny moments weren’t a "fix" — they were self compassion. Over time, they grew into a new way of living — one built on presence and peace, not pressure or performance.
Through mindful mornings, nourishing meals, cozy tea rituals, gentle movement and soft evening resets, I created a slower, more soulful way to live with gentle rhythms and comfort.
That’s the heart behind what I offer here - to share with other women what helped me come home to myself again.

My Coaching Philosophy
I believe in quiet strength, slow healing, and the power of small, intentional moments. I’ve learned that transformation doesn’t happen all at once — it happens in the gentle in-between: the morning light, the deep breath before the next step, the courage to rest without guilt.
I guide women who are in the midst of healing, rediscovery, or simply craving more peace — women who have poured out for others and are now learning to pour back into themselves.
My coaching isn’t about overhauling your life — it’s about helping you reconnect to it. Through calm conversations, gentle tools, and heart-centered guidance, I'll help you create space for what truly matters.

Why I created Badass Tea Co.
When I went through heart valve surgery, my world shifted in ways I didn’t expect. Recovery was not just physical — it was emotional, mental, and deeply personal. I struggled with learning how to trust my body again. Every new sensation made me pause. Every spike of fear reminded me how vulnerable healing can feel.
During that time, I discovered that the moments between medical appointments, follow-ups, and long days of recovery were the hardest. There is no guidebook for the mental load of healing. No roadmap for what you’re supposed to feel. And no warning about how much of recovery happens after the surgery is over.
Tea became something steady I could turn to — not as a cure, not as a miracle, but as support. A warm cup helped me slow down. It calmed my nervous system when my thoughts raced.
It gave me something grounding to hold onto when my body felt unfamiliar. It reminded me to breathe and that every day of rest was a day of healing.
I didn’t start Badass Tea Co. because tea was trendy. I started it because tea helped me through the most uncertain season of my life. I didn’t always trust my body, and every new sensation felt like one more thing to worry about. In the middle of that uncertainty, tea became one of the few things that helped me feel steady. A warm cup in my hands gave me something simple and tangible to focus on. It helped calm my mind, support my heart, and reminded me to breathe. Over time, I realized tea wasn’t just a comfort—it was a real tool for healing and everyday wellness.
Today, as a Certified Tea & Wellness Practitioner, I combine my personal recovery journey with training in tea and women’s wellness to help other women feel more supported in their own bodies. Through Badass Tea Co. and The Helicopter Daughter Tea Studio, I create small-batch teas and down-to-earth education focused on heart health, stress support, gentle energy, and realistic self-care.
